Room Amenities
The Room Amenities configuration page allows you to input, update, and delete the amenities available in your hotel rooms. Managing room amenities ensures accurate room descriptions and helps guests understand what features are included with each room type.
What are Room Amenities?
Room amenities are features or facilities provided in a hotel room, such as Wi-Fi, air conditioning, minibar, television, or a safe. Defining amenities helps standardize room offerings and improves the guest booking experience.
How to Add a Room Amenity
- In the Tools menu, click the Configuration submenu, select the Front Desk tab, then click the Room Amenities button to open the window.
- Click the Insert button to add a new amenity. A new entry window will appear.
- Enter the following data:
- Code: Unique code for the amenity.
- Name: Name of the amenity.
- Description: Description of the amenity.
- Click Save to store the new amenity, or Close to cancel.
How to Update a Room Amenity
- In the Tools menu, click the Configuration submenu, select the Front Desk tab, then click the Room Amenities button.
- Select the amenity you want to update, right-click, and choose the Update button.
- Enter the new data as needed.
- Click Save to apply the changes, or Close to cancel.
How to Delete a Room Amenity
- In the Tools menu, click the Configuration submenu, select the Front Desk tab, then click the Room Amenities button.
- Select the amenity you want to delete, right-click, and choose the Delete button.
- A confirmation dialog will appear.
- Click Yes to confirm deletion, or No to cancel.
