Location Configuration

Location is used to manage the data of places where fixed asset items are stored.

What is a Location?

A Location refers to a specific place or area designated for storing fixed assets. Recording locations helps track where each asset is kept within your organization.

How to Add a New Location

  1. Go to Tools > Configurations > Inventory & Assets > Location.
  2. Click the Insert button to add a new location.
  3. Enter the following information:
    • Code: Enter the location code.
    • Name: Enter the location name.
  4. Click Save & Close to save, or Close to cancel.

How to Update a Location

  1. Go to Tools > Configurations > Inventory & Assets > Location.
  2. Select the location to update and click the Update icon.
  3. Edit the fields as needed.
  4. Click Save to save changes, or Close to cancel.

How to Delete a Location

  1. Go to Tools > Configurations > Inventory & Assets > Location.
  2. Select the location to delete and click the Delete button.
  3. Confirm the deletion when prompted.
  4. Click Yes to delete, or No to cancel.
