Location Configuration
Location is used to manage the data of places where fixed asset items are stored.
What is a Location?
A Location refers to a specific place or area designated for storing fixed assets. Recording locations helps track where each asset is kept within your organization.
How to Add a New Location
- Go to Tools > Configurations > Inventory & Assets > Location.
- Click the Insert button to add a new location.
- Enter the following information:
- Code: Enter the location code.
- Name: Enter the location name.
- Click Save & Close to save, or Close to cancel.
How to Update a Location
- Go to Tools > Configurations > Inventory & Assets > Location.
- Select the location to update and click the Update icon.
- Edit the fields as needed.
- Click Save to save changes, or Close to cancel.
How to Delete a Location
- Go to Tools > Configurations > Inventory & Assets > Location.
- Select the location to delete and click the Delete button.
- Confirm the deletion when prompted.
- Click Yes to delete, or No to cancel.
