Outlet

The Outlet configuration page allows you to manage outlet data in your hotel, such as restaurants, bars, or shops. Properly managing outlets ensures accurate transactions and reporting in the Point of Sales (POS) system.

What is an Outlet?​

An Outlet is a point of sale location within your hotel, such as a restaurant, bar, or retail shop. Each outlet can have its own configuration for transactions, tax, and service settings.

How to Add an Outlet​

  1. In the Tools submenu, select Configurations, then choose the Point Of Sales option and click Outlet to open the window.
  2. Click the Insert button at the top right to add a new outlet. The Outlet Editor window will appear.
  3. Enter the following data:
    • Code: Outlet code.
    • Active: Check if the outlet is active for transactions.
    • Name: Name of the outlet.
    • Check Prefix: Prefix for captain order.
    • Sub Dept.: Select the sub department.
    • Store: Select the store for inventory deduction during transactions.
    • Tax & Service: Select the tax and service configuration.
    • Sort: Enter the sort order number.
  4. Click Save to store the new outlet, or Close to cancel.

How to Update an Outlet​

  1. Select the outlet you want to update, right-click and click Update, or double-click the data to open the editor.
  2. Enter the desired changes.
  3. Click Save to apply the changes, or Close to cancel.

How to Duplicate an Outlet​

  1. Right-click the outlet you want to duplicate and click Duplicate.
  2. Enter a new code and make any necessary changes to the fields.
  3. Click Save to store the duplicate, or Close to cancel.

How to Search for an Outlet​

Use the Search By feature at the top to find outlets using available keywords.

How to Delete an Outlet​

  1. Select the outlet you want to delete, right-click, and click Delete.
  2. A confirmation dialog will appear. Click Yes to confirm deletion, or No to cancel.
  3. If the outlet has been used in transactions, it cannot be deleted and an attention window will appear.
