Printer

The Printer configuration page allows you to manage printer data for use in your hotel's kitchen or other outlets. Properly managing printers ensures accurate order printing and smooth operations in the Point of Sales (POS) system.

What is a Printer?

A Printer is a device used to print orders, receipts, or reports in outlets such as kitchens, bars, or cashier stations. Each printer can be assigned a code, name, and location.

How to Add a Printer

  1. In the Tools submenu, select Configurations, then choose the Point Of Sales option and click Printer to open the window.
  2. Click the Insert button at the top right to add a new printer. The Printer Editor window will appear.
  3. Enter the following data:
    • Code: Printer code.
    • Name: Name of the printer.
    • Location: Location of the printer.
  4. Click Save to store the new printer, or Close to cancel.

How to Update a Printer

  1. Select the printer you want to update, right-click and click Update, or double-click the data to open the editor.
  2. Enter the desired changes to the name or location.
  3. Click Save to apply the changes, or Close to cancel.

How to Duplicate a Printer

  1. Right-click the printer you want to duplicate and click Duplicate.
  2. Enter a new code, name, and location as needed.
  3. Click Save to store the duplicate, or Close to cancel.

How to Search for a Printer

Use the Search By feature at the top to find printers using available keywords.

How to Delete a Printer

  1. Select the printer you want to delete, right-click, and click Delete.
  2. A confirmation dialog will appear. Click Yes to confirm deletion, or No to cancel.
