Tenant
The Tenant configuration page allows you to manage tenant data in your hotel, such as shops, kiosks, or service providers. Properly managing tenants ensures accurate records and supports commission tracking in the Point of Sales (POS) system.
What is a Tenant?
A Tenant is a business entity operating within your hotel, such as a shop, restaurant, or service provider. Each tenant can have its own owner, commission structure, and contact details.
How to Add a Tenant
- In the Tools submenu, select Configurations, then choose the Point Of Sales option and click Tenant to open the window.
- Click the Insert button at the top right to add a new tenant. The Tenant Editor window will appear.
- Enter the following data:
- Code: Tenant code.
- Name: Name of the tenant or outlet.
- Owner: Select the owner of the tenant.
- Commission: Enter the commission amount or percentage.
- Address: Tenant address.
- City: City name.
- Phone1 and Phone2: Tenant phone numbers.
- Fax: Fax number.
- Email: Tenant email address.
- Click Save to store the new tenant, or Close to cancel.
How to Update a Tenant
- Select the tenant you want to update, right-click and click Update, or double-click the data to open the editor.
- Enter the desired changes.
- Click Save to apply the changes, or Close to cancel.
How to Duplicate a Tenant
- Right-click the tenant you want to duplicate and click Duplicate.
- Enter a new code and make any necessary changes to the fields.
- Click Save to store the duplicate, or Close to cancel.
How to Search for a Tenant
Use the Search By feature at the top to find tenants using available keywords.
How to Delete a Tenant
- Select the tenant you want to delete, right-click, and click Delete.
- A confirmation dialog will appear. Click Yes to confirm deletion, or No to cancel.
- If the tenant has been used in transactions, it cannot be deleted and an attention window will appear.
