Waitress

The Waitress configuration page allows you to manage waitress data for outlets in your hotel. Properly managing waitress records ensures accurate assignment and tracking in the Point of Sales (POS) system.

What is a Waitress?

A Waitress is a staff member who serves guests in outlets such as restaurants, bars, or cafes. Each waitress can be assigned to a specific outlet.

How to Add a Waitress

  1. In the Tools submenu, select Configurations, then choose the Point Of Sales option and click Waitress to open the window.
  2. Click the Insert button at the top right to add a new waitress. The Waitress Editor window will appear.
  3. Enter the following data:
    • Code: Waitress code.
    • Name: Name of the waitress.
    • Outlet: Name of the outlet where the waitress works.
  4. Click Save to store the new waitress, or Close to cancel.

How to Update a Waitress

  1. Select the waitress you want to update, right-click and click Update, or double-click the data to open the editor.
  2. Enter the desired changes to the name or other fields.
  3. Click Save to apply the changes, or Close to cancel.

How to Duplicate a Waitress

  1. Right-click the waitress you want to duplicate and click Duplicate.
  2. Enter a new code and name as needed.
  3. Click Save to store the duplicate, or Close to cancel.

How to Search for a Waitress

Use the Search By feature at the top to find waitresses using available keywords.

How to Delete a Waitress

  1. Select the waitress you want to delete, then click the Delete button.
  2. A confirmation dialog will appear. Click Yes to confirm deletion, or No to cancel.
  3. If the waitress has been used in transactions, it cannot be deleted and an attention window will appear.
