Bed Type
The Bed Type configuration page allows you to input, update, and delete the types of beds available in your hotel. Properly managing bed types ensures accurate room descriptions and helps guests choose the right accommodation.
What is a Bed Type?
A Bed Type refers to the specific kind of bed provided in a room, such as Single, Double, Queen, King, or Twin. Defining bed types helps standardize room offerings and improves the booking experience.
How to Add a Bed Type
- In the Tools menu, click the Configuration submenu, select the Front Desk tab, then click the Bed Type button to open the window.
- Click the Insert button to add a new bed type. A new entry window will appear.
- Enter the following data:
- Code: Unique code for the bed type.
- Name: Name of the bed type.
- Sort: Enter the sort order number.
- Click Save to store the new bed type, or Close to cancel.
How to Update a Bed Type
- In the Tools menu, click the Configuration submenu, select the Front Desk tab, then click the Bed Type button.
- Select the bed type you want to update, right-click, and choose the Update button.
- Enter the new data as needed.
- Click Save to apply the changes, or Close to cancel.
How to Delete a Bed Type
- In the Tools menu, click the Configuration submenu, select the Front Desk tab, then click the Bed Type button.
- Select the bed type you want to delete, right-click, and choose the Delete button.
- A confirmation dialog will appear.
- Click Yes to confirm deletion, or No to cancel.
