ID Card Type

The ID Card Type configuration page allows you to input, update, and delete types of identification used by guests. Managing ID card types ensures accurate guest records and supports various forms of identification.

What is an ID Card Type?

An ID Card Type is a category of identification document, such as Passport, National ID, Driver's License, or other forms of ID. Defining ID card types helps standardize guest registration and verification.

How to Add an ID Card Type

  1. In the Tools menu, click the Configuration submenu, select the Front Desk tab, then click the ID Card Type button to open the window.
  2. Click the Insert button to add a new ID card type. A new entry window will appear.
  3. Enter the following data:
    • Code: Unique code for the ID card type.
    • Name: Name of the ID card type (e.g., Passport, KTP, Driver's License).
  4. Click Save to store the new ID card type, or Close to cancel.

How to Update an ID Card Type

  1. In the Tools menu, click the Configuration submenu, select the Front Desk tab, then click the ID Card Type button.
  2. Select the ID card type you want to update, right-click, and choose the Update button.
  3. Enter the new data as needed.
  4. Click Save to apply the changes, or Close to cancel.

How to Delete an ID Card Type

  1. In the Tools menu, click the Configuration submenu, select the Front Desk tab, then click the ID Card Type button.
  2. Select the ID card type you want to delete, right-click, and choose the Delete button.
  3. A confirmation dialog will appear.
  4. Click Yes to confirm deletion, or No to cancel.
