Guest Type

The Guest Type configuration page allows you to input, update, and delete different types of guests. Managing guest types helps categorize guests for reporting, marketing, and personalized service.

What is a Guest Type?

A Guest Type is a classification used to group guests based on certain criteria, such as "Individual," "Corporate," "Family," or "VIP." Assigning guest types helps tailor services and analyze guest segments.

How to Add a Guest Type

  1. In the Tools menu, click the Configuration submenu, select the Front Desk tab, then click the Guest Type button to open the window.
  2. Click the Insert button to add a new guest type. A new entry window will appear.
  3. Enter the following data:
    • Code: Unique code for the guest type.
    • Name: Name of the guest type.
    • Color: Select a color to represent the guest type.
  4. Click Save to store the new guest type, or Close to cancel.

How to Update a Guest Type

  1. In the Tools menu, click the Configuration submenu, select the Front Desk tab, then click the Guest Type button.
  2. Select the guest type you want to update, right-click, and choose the Update button.
  3. Enter the new data as needed.
  4. Click Save to apply the changes, or Close to cancel.

How to Delete a Guest Type

  1. In the Tools menu, click the Configuration submenu, select the Front Desk tab, then click the Guest Type button.
  2. Select the guest type you want to delete, right-click, and choose the Delete button.
  3. A confirmation dialog will appear.
  4. Click Yes to confirm deletion, or No to cancel.
