Room View

The Room View configuration page allows you to input, update, and delete the types of views or panoramas available in your hotel rooms. Managing room views helps you accurately describe room options and enhance the guest booking experience.

What is a Room View?

A Room View refers to the panorama or scenery visible from a hotel room, such as "Sea View," "City View," "Garden View," or "Mountain View." Defining room views helps guests choose rooms that best match their preferences.

How to Add a Room View

  1. In the Tools menu, click the Configuration submenu, select the Front Desk tab, then click the Room View button to open the window.
  2. Click the Insert button to add a new room view. A new entry window will appear.
  3. Enter the following data:
    • Code: Unique code for the room view.
    • Name: Name of the room view.
    • Sort: Enter the sort order number.
  4. Click Save to store the new room view, or Close to cancel.

How to Update a Room View

  1. In the Tools menu, click the Configuration submenu, select the Front Desk tab, then click the Room View button.
  2. Select the room view you want to update, right-click, and choose the Update button.
  3. Enter the new data as needed.
  4. Click Save to apply the changes, or Close to cancel.

How to Delete a Room View

  1. In the Tools menu, click the Configuration submenu, select the Front Desk tab, then click the Room View button.
  2. Select the room view you want to delete, right-click, and choose the Delete button.
  3. A confirmation dialog will appear.
  4. Click Yes to confirm deletion, or No to cancel.

Managing room views ensures your room inventory is detailed and helps guests find the perfect room for their stay.
